Wobble Wobble!!!!

Well tonight I decided that I would try to add to my elliptical time....And it worked!  I added 5 minutes for a total of 20 minutes to warm up.....It was TOTALLY easy!!!  How????  I had a great music playlist.  Sing along, "dance" along....time just ticks away.

Well after the elliptical, I spent about a half hour lifting weights.  Tonight's routine.....



And after the weight lifting, I did 10 straight minutes of abdominal crunches, knee lifts, and pelvic tilts....10 minutes might not sound like a lot but try it and see if your belly doesn't burn about 30 seconds into it!

AND after all of that....the Wobble song came on and I did the routine not once but twice.  That's a workout!  And I loved every minute of it.  If you don't know about the Wobble, here is a link to a video that I absolutely love.  Easy to learn from this.


Wow....Can't believe exercise can be so fun!  I used to dread it but now I look forward to it.

Weigh In Monday


Yippee! I am down 1.5 lbs today! I am now 228 lbs! I am really proud of this. Hard to think that I was 263 just a short time ago (Jan).

I am really proud also that I was able to work out last week and earned 29 APs. That may not seem like a lot to some but that is like a million points to me! And I only ate 4 of them and none of my weeklies.

I am totally a believer...I can do whatever I set my mind up to do. I am loving this!

So glad I did it!!!!

It was about 9:45pm tonight.  I had not yet worked out.  I had been sitting here, listening to music, downloading new music and making new playlists.  And decided I was not going to mess up this week by not working out tonight.....so I hopped on the elliptical and you know how the rest goes.



Totally am glad I did it!  I feel great!  I am earning more APs than I have ever earned.  I am seeing changes!!!  And so are other people.  I have more energy.  I love this new lifestyle!


So after my workout, I continued to listen to my music and Jamie Foxx's "I Don't Need It" came on....OMG!  I danced for another 5 minutes...and earned another point....Don't think anyone can listen to that song without dancing.....Check it out on Youtube.

Trader Joes!!!! I love it!!!


Here we go again!!!!  Today's trip was totally for the purpose of buying Maya some more breaded chicken breasts BUT this time, I was really wanting them because I wanted to try Danica's recipe for Buffalo Chicken Breast salad.

Well while I was there, I found some other goodies!


Got some Romaine Lettuce, breaded chicken breasts, thick turkey bacon, frozen green beans, avocados, tomatoes, onion, plums and a huge bag of clementines!!!

The clementines are tiny but they are soooo sweet!  Love them!

Now for that buffalo chicken salad.....Doesn't it look good???


I won't tell anyone that you just licked your computer screen!!!!

This was absolutely the best salad I have ever fixed!  I cooked the chicken breasts as directed, diced it up and tossed it in Texas Pete!!!  The Blue cheese dressing  is light.  But the taste didn't reflect that.  It was so good!  And for 6 points total???  I will take it!

Followed that up with a vitatop brownie with ff whipped cream. What a yummy and filling lunch!

I like to move it, move it!

....at least I think I do!

Day 2 of working out and again, I FEEL AWESOME!  Tonight I started with some cardio (elliptical 'kilt' me!) and then worked lower body. I guess i'll need help pulling up my underwear in the am!  LOL

Anyhow....I took some post workout pics.

Oooh...I think my "Mayapooch" is shrinking!


And here is my little corner of my rec room that I am starting to really enjoy!!!


This working out thing might actually become a habit!  Again I feel great!  (Don't know if I will be saying that in the am though...LOL)

Hot Diggity Dang!

Well as I stated earlier, I was planning to workout tonight.  And guess what????

I DID!!!!

I worked out on my elliptical for 15 minutes....High intensity!!!!  Almost did a mile (.93) in that 15 minutes too!!!  At speed 5.4!!!!



Sweating bullets!!!  Nah not really, but my clothes were a bit soaked.  After the elliptical, I did 20 minutes of upper body strength training AND 10 minutes of abs....

Just took a hot shower....feeling good, smelling good....And "fixin'" to sleep good!  LOL

I did it!!!!

Weigh In Monday

Well I did it! I made it to the 220s! Never thought I would ever see that number again! But low and behold, I did this morning!

229.5!

And this was after a weekend of Father's Day dinners, eating out, lots of baking....I am so glad I decided to embark on this journey. Now that I have been doing this for a while, I can truly say that this is soooo easy! I am more Food Smart now and I have been eating more fruits and veggies than I ever have before!

Now I need to commit to working out...Why not start today???

Plan is, after dinner digests, I will do about 10 minutes of elliptical to warm up and then do an upper body workout. Yeah, that's what I will do.

Weigh In Monday!

and.....I'M A LOSER! Down 2 lbs! So I am 230 lbs! The smallest I have been in a long while!


WOW...

You know, it feels good to be able to eat an occasional cookie, piece of candy, cake and still lose! I haven't eaten this much fruit in forever! I am grateful for the new points plus plan. Thanks to it, I am experimenting with foods I never thought I would ever eat and surprisingly I am loving the variety!

WW is my new way of life!

Water water water!

Last week, I weighed one or two days after my weigh in day and was becoming frustrated because it looked like I was gaining even after beginning to exercise. Well It felt like AF was on her way. But she never showed (It could have been my TOM but with this Mirena IUD, I never know if this is going to be the month my bleeding actually stops.) Anyhow, I have been peeing like crazy! And I stepped on the scale this morning and it appears that I'm losing that water weight.

This mornings weight???

229.5! Yes the 220s! They are in sight! Not counting this weight today but I am hopeful that it's on the way!   LIKE MONDAY!!!

If I can maintain this, it will be a 2.5 lbs loss for the week!!!!

*This exercising thing actually works!

PS...Going shopping for that new scale TODAY!!!!

GREAT VISIT TO THE OBGYN!

Everyone there ranted and raved about my 'skinniness'.  LOL  I talked a lot today about weight watchers!  Everyone wanted to know my secret.  My doc asked me how is it that I lost more than 25 lbs since the last visit....I told him.  He was very happy for me.

I am also to discontinue my Metformin since I am not insulin resistant anymore.  TAKE THAT PCOS!

WHAT THE HELL?

Ok....I am getting frustrated too! It's only Wednesday. I weigh in on Monday's so that was two days ago. I have been walking everyday since Saturday. I have eaten maybe 2 activity points but none of my weeklies... I have been trying to eat a variety this week rather than the same old same old....I have only eaten out once (Bojangles supremes for dinner yesterday)....I do feel a little crampy so I am sure that "heifer AF" is on the way  Having said that....

I have been weighing each morning (I know I know....bad) and the scale is going UP and not down....WHY? It's like I have gained 2 lbs since Monday!!!! 



I am not letting this get to me!  I can do this.  I will add more water....(I know my insides are already swimming!  LOL) and wait it out!

Weigh In Monday-Happy Birthday to Me!

Well just as I thought, no loss this week. Just a gain of 1.5. Am I upset? A little. Am I surprised? Heck Naw! My birthday was yesterday! I lost track of points once I got to granny's last evening. Anyhow. Total loss is now 31. Still happy about that! Starting a new week!
