My story

I am a PCOS sufferer...that's Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome for those unfamiliar. I have been living a life filled with ups and downs in weight, irregular cycles, miscarriages, etc. After the birth of my precious baby girl, things seemed to change. Breastfeeding helped me to lose 22 lbs almost immediately but once I stopped BF'ing, those 22 lbs appeared again. Just this past December, I made the commitment to stick to my goal of losing weight. My new years resolution this year was to not have the same new years resolution next year....losing weight.

So here I am.

At my highest weight, I weighed 284 lbs! YIKES! I am also 5'11" so I hid it VERY well!

Prior to January, I'd lost 21 lbs. SO my WW journey began at 263.
Left (1/23/11) at 263 Right (3/27/11) at 238.5

I currently am weighing in at 238.5 lbs. I can't say how long its been since I have been here! I can cross my legs comfortably, I can fit into a pair of capris that my mom gave me a couple of years ago.

I've lost ALMOST the weight of my almost 2 year old daughter! And holding her is totally an eye opener. She is heavy! I can't believe I carried that weight plus some! I vow to NEVER see that weight again!

On top of this, I am in the process of starting a home cookie business. This scared me initially because I thought this would hinder my loss. But it totally hasn't. Since WW allows me to eat ANYTHING, I can still have my cookies! YUM! Thanks to the WW recipe builder, I can totally enjoy them knowing their points plus values.

My goal is 199 lbs. I am hoping to hit that by the end of the year. Pray for me y'all!
