Weigh In Monday....

Guess what y'all????   I lost the weight I gained over the last two weeks plus some!!!!   Last week's weigh in was 230.5 and today....


Yep that's right!  I lost 5.5 lbs this week!!!!  WAHOO!!!  I am too excited.

What did I do differently????   I tracked EVERY morsel that went into my mouth...not going over my daily points (well I think I used 2 APs)  AND I kept my goal in mind the entire week.  I want to hit ONEderland!!!!

No I didn't work out much this week.  But I am glad the scale showed what it did....EVEN WITH AF in the house!!!!

But one thing DOES make me sad.....I LOST A FRIGGIN POINT!!!!    Down to 36 daily points.....


That's ok though.  Just means I am doing what I am supposed to be doing, right????

It's Alive!!!!


Well I'm back from vacation! And I was doing good until thy warm chocolate cake yesterday....

So I was to punish myself by doing an hour of step aerobics but instead, I Started by plugging in my elliptical trainer to see if it would work. Well guess what, it did!!!!

I ended up doing 1.31 miles in 20 minutes and I was pouring sweat by the end.









I'm excited to say that this was the first time ever that I have been somewhere, worn a swimsuit, and didn't cover up. I was really confident! Wasn't ashamed at all. I'm proud of all that I have accomplished so far.

34 lbs in 6 months! Something to be proud of.

Tomorrow is weigh in day. I'm not expecting much but we shall see!

Yep I weighed again...

Before I was supposed to. But I left for vacation today and wanted to see where I stand right now. And I'm glad I did! I weighed in at 227! Lost the 2 lbs I gained last week.

Total motivation to try to stay on track this weekend. Got my snacks ready and all. Let's do this!

Weigh in Monday!

and I am up 2 lbs.  Don't quite understand but i'm okay with it.  I am seeing the changes in my body and so is everyone else.  I am happy with where I am right now.

SO I have decided to up my exercise intensity a bit.  As usual, I will follow the Bill Phillips method but to a 'T'.  So that means for the next few days, I'll need some help pulling up my underwear! LOL

Tonight's workout began with 20 high intensity cardio minutes on the treadmill and ended with a killer upper body workout.  (note:  back will be added to the lower body workout)


I've totally got this!

PS...did you see that last triceps exercise?  Dips!  Something I'd never thought I would do.  Thanks to the push from my hubby, I did it!

Hot diggety dang!

This workout was a killer!!!!   Instead of playing my Cardio playlist in progression from slow song to fast, I placed it on shuffle and decided that I would keep up to the beat of the music on the elliptical.  WELL I knew this was going to be something when the first song was PERCOLATOR (Cajmere) and the second was GREEN LIGHT (John Legend/Andre 3000)....


I actually hit the 1 mile mark in less than half the time....But by that point, I was exhausted!  But I pushed myself and I completed the workout....Just a little shy of last night's distance.....


But again, I am determined....I will get it!

I followed the elliptical workout with about 30 minutes of lower body training--lunges, squats, deadlifts....then ended as I always do with Ab work....about 15 minutes of it.  I FEEL GOOD!

ALMOST DOESN'T COUNT....

That's a friggin' lie!!!!   Look at all of that sweat!!!!

Yes I almost got the 2 miles in 30 minutes.   Last night I got 1.85....Tonight what did I get????  Drumroll please......

Yes!!!  1.89!  So I am progressing....and I WILL get that 2 miles!!!!

I was starting my weight training when I heard my baby crying....She had taken a little fall and of course no one can kiss those boo boos away like mama can....So no weights tonight....

But I did get a few more arm shots!!!!




LOVING THIS!!!!  Okay...time to go chat with my peeps!!!  PEACE!

I really didn't want to but I did!!!

I skipped my workout last night.  I was so darn exhausted!!!!  I wanted to skip tonight too!  But my 'work out obsessed' husband nudged me to go upstairs to the rec room and do it.

SOOOOOO  I had in mind that I was still going to hit the 2 miles on the elliptical in 30 minutes....What happened????


Well I DID hit a mile after about 17 minutes.  That's an improvement!

But the overall results....

Just a little bit more than last workout....so I AM making progress!

And I am sooooo glad to have such a supportive husband who is not pushy but motivating just enough to get my booty moving!

That's Determination!!!

Ok....As I have stated, I am trying to get 2 miles of elliptical training in 30 minutes.  Came so close Saturday night.  I was determined to get it tonight.  SOOOOO results?????


Well after about 26 minutes, I had reached 1.52 miles.....not looking good....


So at the end of my 30 minutes, I was at 1.80miles.  Didn't get it.  But because I wanted to see 2 miles, I punished myself with 10 more minutes!!!!  And the results???



Yes....0.42 miles!  So tonight I did 40 minutes of elliptical training and did 2.22 miles total!  And I feel great!

Also got in a great weight training workout.


So my goal still remains to reach that 2 mile mark in 30 minutes or else, I might just punish myself again!  But on the upside, I earned 14 APs!  YES!

Weigh In Monday

I'm 227.0....I think.

Got on the scale and it said 226.5. Got off then back on and it said 227.5. Got off and on again and it said 227.5.

Being that I worked out SOOOO hard this past week I think I lost more.  At least I feel like I did. My husband told me to change the batteries in the scale so I did.  And I weighed 227.  Then off and on again, 227.  Then off and on again 227

I think it's time for a new scale. For real this time!  But I will take the 227!  1 lb down!

Feeling "PURTY"

OMG!  I felt really beautiful today!  I was in the bathroom dressing and to my surprise, I was able to fit into a size 14 pair of capris!  Yes FOUR sizes down from my original size!!!!  Can't believe it!

Anyhow, I popped out of the bathroom and my husband's jaw dropped.  Loved hearing how 'sexy' I look!  I mean, he always tells me this and always compliments me but something was different about that remark today.

I am totally loving this change.  Can't go back!

Workout Summary

Sorry....Friday night's workout was a bit late so I didn't have time to summarize.  My goal was 2 miles in 30 minutes on the elliptical.  Well....This is what happened:


1.85 miles!!!!  SO CLOSE!!!!

I followed that workout, as usual, with 10 minutes of abs to the beat of my music.

Well last night, I was determined to hit that 2 miles in 30 minutes.  And I THINK I really did....But I was so excited about working out that I forgot to grab my headphones and then when I got back on I forgot to press start!  After about 5 minutes of working out, I was wondering why I was still on 29 minutes!!!!  So technically I did 35 minutes of workout but only 30 was timed.  So I truly think I DID hit that mark!!!!  Add the extra 5 minutes and.....


I WILL GET IT!!!!

Getting back in the groove

Ok...I DID workout on Monday (Wobble Wobble post) but due to some marketing work I am doing for my boss, I was really busy on Tuesday night so I skipped it.  I DID work out on Wednesday night.  Did lower body after my elliptical work out, of course--20 minutes--


Then last night, I skipped again because it was just me and Maya here (DH was tending to his granny's yard) so I couldn't get away to get it in.  BUT tonight it is on!  I shall make up for the two nights I missed this week!  Uh oh...
